Timber Floor Sanding and Polishing
Sanding and polishing new and old timber floors is at the core of what we do. We have been restoring wooden floors in South-East Queensland for over 30 years and we focus on being professional, reliable, and highly skilled.
Having your floors expertly sanded and polished will ensure the quality and integrity of your timber boards for many years to come. A professionally restored wooden floor will add value to your investment and create a focal point in any style of home, new or old.
When should timber floors be re-sanded and polished?
There is no set “rule” about how frequently you should re-sand your floors. Ultimately it will depend on how well they have been maintained and whether there is any significant scratching or damage that needs repair. As a general guide though, we do recommend sanding and polishing your floors every 5-10 years. This will ensure the long-term beauty and health of your timber floor boards. You’ll know your floors need attention when:
- High traffic areas look dull and worn
- Previous coats have worn away – you see bare timber
- You notice too many scratches for your liking.
With a proper consultation and correct advice, our skilled experts can restore your timber flooring back to its former glory.
